The Race Cape

Photo: Race Cape - Click to view larger imageAnother Mountain Mama innovation is the Race Cape, designed to keep adaptive ski racers warm while waiting for a race to begin. it slips easily over both skier and sitski, and can be quickly removed. The gathered seams of the footrest section keep the cape snug around the skier's feet, and stays in place even in strong winds. The adjustable drawstring hood and Velcro closure keep the wind and snow out.

"The start of a race is the most important time in a race. If you are cold you can't perform to your best ability. I use the Race Cape to keep me warm at the start. No matter what the weather is like I am warm, dry and ready to go."
